America needs a civic culture strong enough to hold people together across race, religion, ethnicity, class, and party, while rejecting antisemitism, hatred, political violence, and ideologies that tear communities apart.
A healthy republic depends on people who can disagree honestly while still seeing each other as fellow citizens. Mainstreet welcomes people of every faith, background, and political tradition who are willing to work together within the American constitutional order, but that openness comes with real standards. We reject antisemitism, political violence, dehumanization, authoritarianism, and any ideology, left or right, that denies equal citizenship or seeks to undermine democratic self-government.
Mainstreet stands against antisemitism, supports the safety and civic belonging of Jewish Americans, and believes America should stand with democratic allies against terror, extremism, and authoritarianism.
Mainstreet is open to people who disagree. It is not open to movements that make shared civic life impossible.
